Specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, obesity, and mood disorders.

We provide care using a biopsychosocial model to aid in recovery and reach a place where you feel like you are not just surviving…you are thriving!

We provide direct care with transparent pricing, without the complexity and restrictions of insurance-based medicine. Our goal is to offer thoughtful, accessible care with clear costs and a strong patient–physician relationship at the center.

  • Holistic care for 10-30 year old adolescents and young adults:

    • Eating disorders including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, ARFID (avoidant-restrictive food intake disorder), unspecified eating disorders

    • Obesity treatment focused on lifestyle behaviors and, when appropriate, use of medications

    • Mood disorders including depression, anxiety, ADHD

    • Sexual health including testing and treatment of STIs, contraception

    • Other - please contact us if you need treatment for something other than what is listed and think we can help

  • Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form below or click “Get In Touch” button at the top to send an email.

  • Direct Care is a model of healthcare that promotes the patient-physician relationship and removes third-party payers to protect the best interests of the patients. It is a direct financial agreement between the patient and the doctor and works like a subscription service, similar to gym memberships or streaming services (Netflix, Disney, etc.). Direct care services have an affordable membership fee. As a member you have access to medical services and discounted pricing for labs.

Streamlined Referrals: In the Direct Care model, patients can book appointments directly with Dr. Nikki without needing a referral from a primary care physician. This approach minimizes delays in accessing specialized care, ensuring more timely and effective interventions.

Enhanced Patient-Provider Relationship: Direct Care facilitates more extended and direct interactions between patients/families and Dr. Nikki. This increased communication allows Dr. Nikki to gain a comprehensive understanding of each patient's biopsychosocial history and concerns, leading to more personalized care and improved health outcomes.

  • Call 911 for emergencies. Members are given several methods to contact our team for urgent or non-urgent concerns.

  • You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.

  • Ever Better Health is a direct care model of healthcare that is not the traditional model of submitting claims to a health insurance company. Our membership and non-membership options provide transparent pricing and access to care (often same day or next day scheduling) while removing the barriers of billing through health insurance companies.

We provide in-person and virtual/telehealth appointments.

    Membership Option

    ○ CBC

    ○ Estradiol

    ○ Testosterone

    ○ Lipid panel

    ○ Hemoglobin A1c

    Non-Membership Option

    • $350 for initial consultation

    • $250 for follow-up appointments

    • Labs billed separately (pricing discussed before ordering)

If these options are more than your monthly Starbucks habit or manicure routine, or you have proof of Medicaid coverage, please talk to us about a sliding fee scale. We want to provide accessible care, not exclusive care.

  • For a la carte services (initial consultation fee, fee-for-service follow up or procedures), if your commercial insurance offers out-of-network reimbursement, you may submit a superbill to get the coverage from your insurance. Whether or not your insurance reimburses you is completely up to your insurance policy contract and we cannot guarantee that your insurance company will reimburse you.

By law, Medicaid and Medicare patients cannot seek reimbursement from Medicaid or Medicare for services offered by out-of-network providers.

  • Yes, you can use your insurance for any medical needs such as laboratory tests, imaging tests, medications, other medical services (e.g. specialists, hospital services) that are not provided by Ever Better Health. You can compare prices between using your insurance or paying cash for services offered through Ever Better Health. For example, people who have high-deductible plans who did not meet the deductible may save more money by using our deeply discounted prices for laboratory tests, because our negotiated laboratory price is about 80% less than the prices when using insurance.

  • At Ever Better Health we care for patients regardless of insurance status. However, there are emergencies and services that are not covered at our practice. Patients with Medicare or Medicaid can become members but cannot seek reimbursement from Medicare or Medicaid for our service, because Dr. Nikki does not participate in insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. Patients with Medicare or Medicaid can use Medicare/Medicaid benefits for other services such as laboratory/imaging tests, medications, physical therapy, hospital services, etc. We recommend having a health insurance plan that covers services outside of Ever Better Health.

  • If Dr. Nikki determines that your health can be managed by being seen only once or twice a year, you can opt to be seen for an a la carte service (see the Pricing tab for prices for a la carte service). This is a fee-for-service for each visit and the membership benefits are not available (e.g. refills between visits, letters of medical necessity and other services). Alternatively, you can choose to become a member to get access to all the member benefits, including same-day or next-day appointments for other medical concerns.

  • For patients who are members, and who need to be seen more than once a month, you can pay the “Active Recovery” monthly pricing or you can be seen at a deeply discounted price of $95 per visit.

  • Yes, Dr. Nikki loves talking to parents/families. These visits are included in the membership pricing.

  • We have an initial 3-month term for new patients. Other than that, there are no contracts or obligations. We want you to be happy, so you can cancel your membership at any time with 30 days notice.

We cannot guarantee a spot for you in the future. Additionally, there will be a re-enrollment fee if you decide to return in the future.
